Thalia villas are two villas situated in Iris Cottages, a small and generally quiet compound finished in 2002, built around a generous sized swimming pool and gardens. They are well equipped and ideally suited for family holiday rental. Thalia villas are self contained but adjacent, making them ideal for either a large family group to rent all together or two families separately. Both Thalia villas are very well furnished and equipped. The Iris Complex is a development of 40 town houses surrounding a 16m x 8m swimming pool set in beautiful gardens. Sunbeds and umbrellas are provided. It is situated in a residential area 10 - 15 minutes from the seafront where there is a beach and a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The living room and both bedrooms have fitted air conditioning units which double as heaters. Off road parking is provided. The lounge/dining room is well proportioned with a sofa, two armchairs, satellite television, DVD player,video recorder, telephone, CD/Cassette player/Radio, video library ,air conditioning, dining table and six chairs. It opens on to a large private terrace with patio furniture. The sofa converts to a double bed which, together with a separate downstairs toilet, allows the house to sleep 6 with comfort. The kitchen, which is separated from the living area by an island bar is fully equipped with oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine and iron. There are operating instructions for all appliances. The main bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table, air conditioning, clock/radio alarm and a large fitted wardrobe. It opens on to a veranda overlooking the pool and gardens. The second bedroom has twin beds, dressing table and large fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has a bath with power shower, wash basin and toilet. All linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided. UK style 3 pin electric sockets throughout. Cot and high chair hire can be arranged. There are 2 folding chairs for picnics, beach trips, etc. A free welcome pack is provided on arrival. Paphos International airposrt is at 15 kilometres, and nearest beach is in 1 km. Car is not necessary. Location: Thalia villas are within a comfortable walk of the shops and tavernas of Kato Paphos village centre. There is a close-by "open all hours" corner shop and the nearest taverna is within ten minutes walk. The harbour and the nearest beaches are all about 15 minutes walk, although the better beaches are a short drive or bus-ride away. Thalia villas are in 15 minutes drive from Paphos Airport and about one and a half hours from Larnaca Airport on a good motorway.
