Protaras is located in 15 minute drive from Ayia Napa, to the north of Cape Greco. Paralimni area is the most famous vacation area of Protaras. Here everyone can have a wonderful relaxed vacation, from families to singles. Protaras have the finest beaches from entire Cyprus, and crystal blue waters. The famous area of Protaras, Fig Tree Bay, located very close to Cape Greco, is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. In Protaras there is a beautiful Ayios Elias church, everyday it is lit up at night, and the countryside have a lot of windmills which are used to keep the land fertile for potato growing.
