Some parts of the village have been restored to the original traditional style and boast some fine rustic restaurants, (all within walking distance). Oroklini tourist beach with some lovely hotels is only 5 mins away (3km). The white sandy beaches of Ayia Napa and the famous Waterworld Park are 20 minutes to the east, whilst the historic town of Larnaca with its cosmopolitan promenade is 20 minutes to the west.
